journal1-Moon festival

Moon festival is coming. I’m ready for going home, Yilan, to celebrate moon festival in October 3, this Saturday. Although “typhoons” are coming, I mean that has two typhoons are imminent to Taiwan, I still decided to come back to my hometown for getting together with my family and relative. My family did the decision that is barbecuing in front yard this year. Thanks to no rain in Yilan this Saturday night, so we could have good time.

I not only go home for barbecue, but also see my parents and grandparents. Because I haven’t seen them since school opens, I missed them so much. I couldn’t help wanting to return home immediately, regardless of any obstacle.

This is my first time I leave Yilan for Taichung for study, but I adapt to new environment by degrees. I hope my homesick will vanish as soon as possible.

  1. This is a good piece of journal, William.
I'm happy for you that you spent the Moon Festival with your beloved family. I understand what homesickness is like. I am also happy to learn that you are adapting yourself to the whole new environment.

Write more. I'm sure you get improved sooner than you think.

    See you tomorrow!
